I almost always have several amps for sale, being built or in the planning stages.

If anything here floats your boat or there is an amp you just need to have, drop me a line. I am at Frugalamps@gmail.com

I work in my home in a small workshop filled with solder fumes, so someday my mind will go for sure. Until then, Keep on rocking and don't suffer poor guitar amp tone.

A thought on pricing- its not a secret that you can get your hands on any number of mass produced amps today. Onboard effects, huge solid state power sections and on and on. There is nothing like the close and organic sound of a tube amp. And no better tube amp than one put together with love. Man, too many solder fumes for me.

But at any rate, I try to make a product that make the artist in you happy at a price that will not kill you and not create a hardship for me. My overhead is low but I can't work for free. I will, however, try to meet you at an agreeable price with a superior product and I will work to make you happy with your purchase whether you paid just a little or a lot for your amp.

Also, you can probably tell I am not a web page designer. Hope something here made your visit worthwhile.

Sound clips- I made all these sound clips the same way. Used a PRS Custom 22 for the humbucker guitar and a Fender American Strat with Tex Mex single coils for the single coil sounds. Then each amp was plugged straight into an 8 ohm extention cab with a nice 70's Celestion Greenback speaker. A shure M57 (I think that's what its called) microphone was placed about 12" from the speaker. Straight into a digital recorder. That's it- no effects, no after the fact reverb or any other anything added. Just the guitar, a cable and a speaker. They always sound better in person but I hope this gives you a little taste of what they sound like. Tried to play some clean licks and some dirty licks on each amp. Did not open them up all the way, the neighbors don't like that.
